How Come a Lot of People (possibly You), Like Denim?
Worn-in denim is much softer and conforms to your body better, but personally I much prefer a cotton twill over denim; much lighter and softer from the beginning and just as durable
1. How long to wear raw denim before first wash?
It really depends on how "hard" you wear them. A lot of people say 6 months and you will get some fades, but it really depends on what you do. If you play video games all day and sit in your jeans, then it's obviously gonna take quite a while to get some good fades, but if you are a bike messenger biking, walking, running everywhere, you will get some nice fades within a couple months. With that said, for normal wear, anywhere from 5-7 months would give you some decent fades, or when they smell bad lol. Things to keep in mind for new people too, not washing your jeans for 5 months may sound gross, but studies actually show that it's not that different if you wash your 5 month jeans, than if you were to wash it after the normal 2 week period. If your jeans are a little smelly, febreeze them and shove them in the freezer (sounds weird but it works) plus it saves a lot of washing! good for those trying to go green!.
2. I have a pair of boot cut jeans. Is there any way to make them straight leg?
If you have a sewing machine you can do it easily but to do it by hand would be hard because denim is a very dense fabric and hard to sew by hand. Your other option is to take them to a dry cleaners, most of them do repairs so they could do it for a couple of dollars.
3. How do you make denim?
True denim is made from 100% cotton. Today it is often mixed with polyester, elastane, and other materials. There is nothing quite like real 100% cotton denim. Stretch material definitely changes the characteristics. Some of the characteristics are not desirable to me because the material stretches out with repeated washings and then wearing
4. how would denim shorts with black leggins look?
your vogue experience is your vogue experience! in the adventure that your gentle, placed on it. I extremely have, i think of it sounds as though attractive :D my shoe suggestion is the two black, or the comparable shade as your shirt
5. What are your favorite denim brands?
the more expensive ones are the ones that will stay well. i like rocawear, baby phat and apple bottom and dereon fit me soooo well, i love those brands.

it would turn a shade of pink or white depending on how much bleach you used
9. Are denim dressy slacks inappropriate for a job interview?
you should not wear denim to a job interveiw first impressions mean a lot and you need to present yourself well.
10. Do you think this would be alright for my newborn to wear to a funeral?
I would either put her in something one pieced, or put her in something a bit nicer. Denim is not quite appropriate, no matter what her age is, for a funeral. You could have her there in a sleeper, I would say, before a denim dress.
11. what pants do you wear with denim jackets?
I suggest a casual dress but i really think khaki pants and shorts/skirts look great too, even though you may not wear them! But a casual dress :)
12. How can I find the right clothes for my body type?
Avoid horizontal stripes (good tip for anyone). A nice heavyweight fabric, like denim, is really good for a skirt (if it falls just above the knees, that is perfect!), and then go for more structured tops. V-necklines are great for round faces. Black matches anything, so I recommend wearing black tops, with a slightly heavier weight, (but not bulky!) Cardigan. Covering up a little tummy is as easy as high waist bottoms, which will also pinch in a tiny bit at the natural waist, covering all hip dips, AND making a little more of an hourglass figure. A good blazer is a wardrobe must-have and should button right under the bustline. Just add a good pair or 3 inch heels, and you are set! Swimsuits are hard for everyone, but I personally think the most flattering is the "monokini" which is basically a bikini but with a small front panel connecting the top and bottom, which would cover a tummy nicely. As far as hair goes, try a weekly deep conditioning treatment, or a taming spray. If all else fails, go to a salon and see what they can do. Also, perhaps try a french braid right down the middle at night, then sleep on it. When you wake up, take it out, it will make nice waves and control flyaways if you put mousse in beforehand.
